SCARLET WEBBER’S WINTER WHITE
SWEETHEART SNOWBALLS
2 cups rice krispies--(may want to slightly crush these krispies)
- 1 cup crunchy peanut butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
Mix together. (may need another dollop of peanut butter if left with extra sugar and krispies in bowl)
Roll into small balls--spoon size.
Microwave package of white almond bark for one minute. Stir. Keep adding additional minutes cook time, along with stirring in between until hot/melted. Do not overcook.
Lay out foil or wax paper.
Will be a little hot, but start dipping balls and set aside to cool. Toothpicks work great! Easy to double recipe.
Rich and so yum!

As tradition, Scarlet Webber’s Aunt Julie made these Winter White Sweetheart Snowballs every holiday season and each year she looked forward to the treat. Especially when the men in her family crowded around for those hefty meat entrée’s -- this after they traded assorted hunting and fishing artillery and weaponry as Christmas gifts. But the snowballs . . . they were pure, so perfectly white and decadently rich they could make her forget her troubles. They even made Scarlet forget that her dreaded ten-year high school reunion was creeping around the summer bend. Almost. Try them! They are quick and easy, a bonus for a career woman as she climbs the cosmetics corporate ladder.
Bon Appetit!
